Little bastards have few or no natural predators, so they are very chill.  I had to pick one up once and put it in a safer place (it was on the ground, maybe had been stunned) and it just hopped right into my hands and stayed calm until I put it back down.

SO CUTE

These poor guys stun themselves on windows so many times which was my excuse for leaving the windows a little dirty since it seemed to help.

Also, their tongues are translucent. :D Cool stuff.

WHAT IS THIS BIRD

THE NOISE IM MAKING IS INHUMAN AND I CANNOT STOP IT. THIS MAY BE A HUMMINGBIRD. AND I LOVE IT.
